On 29rd of March 2022 FUNDECYT-PCTEX organised the kick-off meeting of “By product for development” project. This project, belonging to Erasmus+ programme aims to tackle the need of having this kind of professionals.
The last 29th of march, the five partners which compose Byp4Dev project will organised kick off meeting of the project.
During the kick-off meeting, the main characteristics of the participant regions were described (Extremadura in Spain, Athens in Greece, Häme in Finland, Vidzeme in Latvia and the region of Centro in Portugal). In addition, all partners shared the main capabilities and competences that it will contribute to the project.
The kick-off meeting continued with the description of the target public of the project and the results to achieve during the project lifetime, as well as the calendar and methodology to use.
During the project, a stakeholder’s map related to by-products and wastes valorisation in agri-food sector will be generated, and a process of listening with these professionals will be generated through a structured survey and the creation of regional focus groups,
These interactions among different stakeholders will generate the professional profile, «the by-products and wastes valorisation in agri-food sector expert”, a Pilot Course (MOOC) and a roadmap to integrate the expert profile created into the existing regional educative structures.
