Byp4Dev Project is presented within the framework of the International Congress S4AGRO 2023

Last 2nd of March 2023 the Byp4Dev Project was presented by Carlos Cabo (FUNDECYT-PCTEX) in the International Congress S4AGRO23 organised by INOVCLUSTER in Castelo Branco (Portugal).

Researchers, scientists, policy makers, agro-industrial SMEs, professionals and students from multidisciplinary fields related to food, gathered at this event on food science and technology, in order to share the latest advances in current scientific knowledge with industrial relevance and new developments in food science and emerging technologies, dedicated to the sustainability of the agro-industrial sector.

In this context, the Byp4Dev Project, as well as presenting the valorisation of by-products as an opportunity that is not only sustainable but also economic, highlighted the importance of creating a new professional profile, the expert in the valorisation of by-products and waste in the agri-food sector, which will enable professionals in this sector to meet the needs and opportunities offered by the bio-based labour market.
