The Byp4Dev MOOC is presented within the framework of the event “How to Value the Residues from Agroindustry”

This event, organized by InovCluster in Castelo Branco last 6th of November 2023, counted with 22 participants: workers from the agroindustry companies of the region, students, representatives from Legal authorities from the Agroindustry sector and also representatives of Training entities.

It was an Event that besides the dissemination of the Byp4Dev MOOC, also had the objective to raise awareness to the valorization of byproducts and bioresidues, with a presentation from Escola Superior Agrária de Castelo Branco about their latest work in this sector, and also the training opportunities on the green transition that Instituto de Emprego e Formação Profissional – IEFP, will have available during the next year.

It was a great opportunity to, among the speakers and the participants, share experiences and difficulties that companies face regarding the management of food waste and also to do a sort of brainstorming on new business opportunities in the valorization of these residues that may be interesting to be explored in the near future.
