First results of Byp4Dev Project will be presented in the framework of the 5th Agri-food Congress of Extremadura
Within the context of the “SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNOLOGICAL EXCHANGE ROUND TABLE FOR THE VALORISATION OF OLIVE GROVE BY-PRODUCTS” to be celebrated in the University Centre Santa Ana (Almendralejo, EXTREMADURA) in the framework of the 5th Agri-food Congress of Extremadura, FUNDECYT-PCTEX will organise its second Byp4Dev Multiplier Event on the 4th May 2023.
This round table has among its objectives to promote the connection between companies and researchers or technology providers, and to identify solutions to the challenges facing the sector from a scientific and technological base. During the meeting, the generation of ideas, the development of R&D&I projects, cooperation, exchange and transfer of knowledge will be addressed, as well as the transition process towards a more sustainable agro-industrial sector.
As indicated in the Multiplier Event Guidelines, these events will be dedicated to share and disseminate the project results developed/ obtained so far, as for example: The State of the Art and needs & opportunities regarding by-product valorisation framework, as well as the necessary knowledge and skills detected during the first phase of the project (PR1) that has led to the design of an “Expert profile in by-products and wastes valorization in the agri-food sector” (PR2).
